Bring a piece of short fiction and prepare to give it an intensive
workout. Working through character, plot, setting, and dialogue,
we will examine your writing and consider how to give it that special
editor-attention getting shine. By the end of the workshop, you
should have a piece of writing that is ready for publication. -

TO CHOOSE A PUBLISHING OPTION - 1. FICTION - 2. NON-FICTION
There are so many choices out there. You can submit your work to
publishers' agents, to small publishers, to large publishers, use
Print on Demand or form your own publishing company. These publishing
routes are available for both novels and nonfiction books. Bring
your submission package and prepare to make some serious decisions.

SUBMISSION
PACKAGES - WHAT TO INCLUDE
Your novel is complete. You have chosen several publishers and/or
agents. What do you send them? How do you arrange your submission
package so that it will be noticed? This workshop helps you to hone
your cover letter, your query letter, your synopsis and your writing
sample. Nonfiction book proposals are also discussed. - 2 hrs -

SYNOPSIS IN AN HOUR
This short sharp workshop lets you take your notes and whip them
into an attention getting synopsis. This two hour workshop opens
with a discussion of what to include, gives you one to one instructor
input during your writing time and ends with a final discussion

TALK
BACK - REPLYING TO YOUR CREATIVE VOICE
This workshop gives participants an opportunity to identify their
creative self, to validate that self in our current society and
to understand the physical and emotional strains that occur when
creative people don't write. This workshop is open to all writers.

to introducing you to the mechanics of preparing a piece of writing

Make a date with your creative self. A workshop that looks at validating
your creative spirit and confirms that writing is a 'real' job.
Offers exercises and tips to keep your creative spirit alive when

EXPERIENCE IN FOUND OBJECTS
Kick start your creative development with this workshop. The workshop
