Thought for the Month "Hope" is the thing with feathers - - Emily Dickinson - poet Hello Writers Here on the west coast of Canada March is a month of hope. We see the signs of spring in the weather and in our gardens. Several sunny days arrive and we are convinced that Spring has settled in. My snow drops have been flowering for several weeks and in sheltered spaces the daffodils are budding. As writers we hope that our last submission will be successful and that our next reading will be attended by a huge crowd. It is the season of activity and hope. location of the 2,500-square-foot store (his first as an owner) he hopes

should be open shortly, ahead of the store itself. The London Book Fair will take place April 16-18 at Earl's Court in London and will have a noticeably greater international attendance. The foreign rights space has sold out with 377 companies booking 522 tables.
Home News: This is the season of Book Fairs and the Windshift Press Group is in the thick of things. We attended the Western Book Reps Trade Fair in February and had a great time. We are currently preparing to attend the London BookFair [see above] and the Pacific Festival of the Book in Victoria on March 23rd - 25th. We have taken a booth and one of our authors, Anna Jean Mallinson is doing a reading from her new book Terra Infirma on Saturday [24th] afternoon. Do drop by and see us if you're in the city.
