June 2008

 Thought for the Month

"I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where it was always June." - L.M. Montgomery - Author, Anne of Green Gables

Hello Writers and Readers,

June brings summer with her as she passes through. Rumour has it that Henry James's two favourite words in the English language were 'summer afternoon'. As June arrives here on the west coast and I think of cucumber sandwiches and lemonade I can't help but agree.

As you review your writing consider the 'real' meaning of each word and what it brings to the table.

Enjoy,

Sandra
